GT Trouble codes

I'm getting trouble code P0457, I already replaced the gas cap and it still comes up when I'm cruisin at a steady speed. Now is there any way I can fix the system leak?

Have you checked the filler neck? Does it leak gas at all when you fill up? Or smell like gas in the rear of car when it isn't running and just parked?

Check the hose lines. There are a few vac hoses/purge hoses for the gas tank. 2 on each side (pass and driver), then one in the rear (and of course the fuel line but that isn't problem). One of those hoses lead to the engine bay, and comes up by the AC canister. Check to see if it is cracked at all. And while you are there check ALL your vac lines.

Did you reset the code after replacing cap? This is from paladinMicro. PaladinMicro

P0457:

* Fuel filler cap not installed on refueling (storing continuous memory DTC) and "Check Fuel Cap" light may also be illuminated.
* Fuel filler cap missing, loose or cross-threaded.

Check for missing fuel filler cap or integrity of the cap. If OK, clear continuous memory DTCs and re-initiate EVAP Emission Running Loss Monitor Drive Cycle.

Hey RyanGT, I did all that. I even change the fuel filler gasket, and still it comes up. I have a diablosport tuner that reset's the code, then like 3 or 4 days later is pops up again. What would be the next thing to do?

Is there a sensor that maybe needs to be cleaned?
