I just lowered my GT about a month ago (2" drop) and it definitely made a difference in the ride and handling. In my opinion... a big plus for both!

No bounce... rides much smoother than stock in my opinion. As for lowering kits.. I recommend you start here: http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...s-vt14904.html

just look up "sub frame connectors"..
get the full length ones not the standard ones.

where the red lines are is what they look like

Want your 281 to turn like a bimmer? S/S (adjustable), 1.5 to 2" drop springs, adjustable control arms, sub frame connectors, larger wheels and soft tires (run wider tires in the rear then the front).

Most people go right to the power, I first went to the handling so i recommend you go there. After you can hit the power bolt-on's.

Suspension Packages:

You can do coilovers up front, but i recommend separate struts and springs as you will get much better weight balance.

Look man, if you want a handling mustang, you need Steeda stuff. I can tell you from experience, my gt with full steeda suspension can turn with 350z's. Check it out.
