Help with FMIC install please!

I'm currenty installing my CxRacing intercooler kit, and i'm curious on where to cut the fender to run the pipe up in the fender and to the upper plenum. If anyone has pictures or advice please let me know, it would be greatly appriciated!

shouldnt have to "cut it" unless you have a powerpipe or something else using the hole in the side of the inner fender. piping should just route up into the engine bay.

exactly right. Well you will indeed need to cut it then. The powerpipe should have a template to go by. Mine did. But i didnt use it. I used and air chizzel with a cutting bit and cut mine out. You might could use a sawzall?

sawsall, or dremel. i found my dremel to be EXTREMELY handy throughout my supercharger install. i bought a metal cutting attachment kit from lowes for like $10 and it works wonders.

The fenderwell was tricky for me with the stock intake, and retarded intercooler piping. I cut about 5" along towards the engine bay. Same height. I marked it, and cut it with a dremel.

Then used a magnet, and vacuum to get all the pieces of metal.

Also, get some fuel hose, cut it directly in the middle, put it along the fenderwell where you cut, and itll look nice and not hacked up.
