Yea dude, Id wait on cams. Do blower cams after your Kenne Bell. Suspension will help you out and you'll be really really happy you did that once ur Kenne Bell is installed

8 hours for cams?

uh, no. more like 4...without springs...still less than 8 with springs.

and don't have enough money for a kb right now? well the cams are only gonna prolong it even more! and then you'll never have enough for it! i do love the cams, BUT i would rather have them after a blower that way i at least have some power till i can do cams...but at least i will have both now

I would do blower cams before a KB..so you dont have to take that bitch back off!

I called around and they told me 8 to do cams, springs and gears. More if I wanted head work done, I guess taking them off and putting them back on and wat not.

It's so funny how this forum is SC crazy. Realisticly, I will not have a KB AT LEAST till I graduate (college kid for those that don't kno) which is 5 more years so everyone simmer down

funny as hell to read that second page and see the bashing of cams. it is an expensive mod, but well worth it. people get so hung up on peak power numbers, when its not just about peak to peak gains. anytime you do cams, you change all sorts of things. things like VE, tq avg, hp avg, cylinder pressures, temps, etc. stock head or not, its a mod worth doing. you cant take full advantage of an aggressive cam without headwork, but its all up to the person where their money is spent.

I agree. I think cams and headwork is a awesome mod. Sure it's expensive but when has the price ever stopped us from modding our cars? Ha idk ahoy u guys but I'm not rich, more on the poor side actually, but I do kno how to save my money for something I want

not to mention the lope of a big ass cam

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but in the little(big) side discussion that happened, my question about what rpm to powershift at got forgotten. I also forgot to mention that before it was strapped on the dyno, it took an hour and 15 to get there, doing 145km/h most of the way. BIG heat soak
