Back from the Dyno...Again

I went to get a re-tune after my BAP. Car was hitting 100% duty cycle @ 5,500rpm, with just the Ford GT Supercar pump. Bought a kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump, now its only hitting 82%.

I was wrong, my timing before was at 15* and it made 373rwhp and 362rwtq. I think at 11psi, he may have read the gauge wrong because it was at an angle.

He threw another degree of timing in it, and it made 384.59rwhp and 372.34rwtq @ 10psi.

He thinks I may have lost 1psi because one of the ribs tore up. But he said, he thinks I should do a powerpipe, and thatll put me around 12-13psi, and 400rwhp. And I can lower my shift points. Im shifting at 6300rpm right now.

Heres 1 video:

mell0 came up with me, we took some pics. I had waxed and detailed the car Thursday, but it rained all Friday night, so I didnt get a chance to quick detail it

mell0 Left, me Right

So next will be, front brakes The 13" Cobra/Mach/Bullitt setup
Maximum Motorsports LCA's 1 Spherical 1 Poly
Kenny Brown Full Length SFC's
AFM or Mongoose powerpipe

Nicely done! And 82% duty cycle at your limit is much safer than 100% at 5.5k lol

Thanks guys! Im gonna buy some 27" Nitto NT555's. They are 255/50 17. That will give me enough tire for the track.

Good numbers, but they seem kinda low to me for ~11 psi. My bullitt made 380 on 7 psi non intercooled. But hey, all that matters is that you are happy with it.

Yeaaa true. Did you have a V1 or V2? V2's outperform V1's. Im sure your intake manifold helped out.

My tune is pretty conservative. 16* of timing. And the AFR is dead on at 11:75:1

BTW 7psi on the Bullitt at 380rwhp is damn good man. Did you have a powerpipe? I heard the stock vortech intakes flow like assssssss

throwing a T-Trim on monday... I wont have forged internals either, so I like to see everybody setup that is non-forged to see what kind of numbers I can make safely. Like the car man, are you happy with the end product?

You can throw the T-Trim on and put a bigger pulley on, and/or back the timing way off and be more than safe. Just remember, after 425rwhp your pushing the limits. But then again, if you dont redline it everytime, and the tune is really safe and conservative, you could hit 450rwhp.

And yes, Im more than happy with the end result. A stock GT makes 260hp at the motor. I made 384rwhp, add the 15% for drivtrain loss thats 441hp at the motor. And I gained 181hp. All for about $2000 all togeather (tune included)

441hp is more than the new SS Camaro, and the new Hemi Challenger. Cant be dissapointed with that

are you on a blow-through or draw through system? I will be running a draw-through (hopefully,) with my front-mount intercooler. And as far as your fuel pump, I have the same pump waiting to go in my car. Is it going to provide me with enough fuel? You seem to say that yours was maxing out before the BAP?

With ur draw through MAF, you might need a MAFia dude. Itll probally peg at like 370rwhp.

As for the fuel pump, their all differant. Mine maxed out at 5500rpm when I was at 373rwhp...I did a BAP, now its only at 82%. So look into that.

You might want to get that stuff before ur tune, cus itll suck if you go down there and ur fuel runs out or ur MAF pegged out

SLP's w/ any O/R pipe are obnoxious haha. Magnaflows sound awesome, but with that o/r X wont it still be pretty loud? I have borla singers on my car, and the only way I could quiet them w/out throwing cats back on my car was to use the pro chamber as a extra muffler sort-of-speak. Lasted about 6 months until It was too quite for me and I threw my o/r H back on... now I think its too loud again.... lol

He has the mafias in stock at the shop, so I will get it if I do end up needing it. If my fuel pump maxes out... so be it I guess. At least I wont blow the motor lol. I will def look into the BAP. And BAP is Kenny-Bells "Boost-A-Pump" correct? How much do those go for?
