I vote flat black wing, especially because you already put the vinyl on and cant really trunk swap someone to get rid of the holes.

Those pics are wayyyy to small

Anyways, take the wing off. It looks SOOO much better. The black spoiler would look good, but no spoiler looks better for sure.

Did someone have a writeup on what to cover the holes with? I thought it was ajm, I would love to keep the spoiler off. Then when I can, do a Saleen S281 1 piece spoiler

Shaun if you can do body work you can cover the holes urself but you also have to take to get it painted again and match the color of your car. If you have a carquest around they have a little handheld machine they put up to ur car and it matches the paint since its faded from the weather. Its cheaper if you just take it to a shop have them fill the holes and then spray it and it will be proffessionally done and you wont have to worry about it. I love to do everything myself but i dont have a spray gun to spray paint so it would be alot cheaper to have someone do it. Add up all the bondo fiberglass filler and paint paint thinner sand paper ur lookin at around 200 dollars. I got mine quoted to fill holes and spray for 150$ and 250$ at the ford place.

as much as I like the wingless look, I think a black spoiler wouldnt look bad on your car.

Man i had the same problem a while back, i rode a while with it off and on then back off for awhile, then finally decided to buy a 03-04 trunk lid w/ spoiler. But i think wingless looks clean

I say wingless. IMO it makes it look to much like a sports car and not a muscle car w/ the wing on.

I wouldn't really consider a Mustang a muscle car anymore. esp not with our sub 250whp stock. it's more a sports car with a muscle car heritage IMO.

anyways, keep the wing but move it back.

We are considered Pony Cars. Sports cars are expensive and 2 seaters.

But if you cant re-paint the truck lid then paint it black. I HATE plugs...its cheap IMO

I guess but when I think muscle cars I think of something that's not so current.
Something that had a 250-300+HP V8 when most other cars had a crappy inline/V6/4banger etc.

Now we have stock 4cyl cars that come with more HP than ours stock, v6's and v8's with over 300hp are everywhere. I no longer see the mustang as a muscle car (what muscle?), but more a sports car. Especially with the amount of people that road race nowadays. An M3 weighs the same as a mustang with more power. Def more of a sports car now than muscle IMO. But maybe that's just because this has been my slowest car I've owned yet by far, and yet it's the only v8 I've owned.

I would consider the new mustang cobra jet a muscle car though
