Nope, no need to run them on the front. Drag radials just help you get better traction than a normal street tire, so you only need to run them on the drive tires

No you do not run dr's in the front. And nitto's would do great on a bolt-on auto car. I ran 12.9's(1.71 best 60' on them) in my TA when it was bolt-on only on 245/50/16 nitto 555r's. The mt's your thinking of are the mt et street radials which are the best dr's I've used. But for a car that is only making about 230 rwhp they are over kill. I plan on buying the new nt05r's from nitto for my stang as they seem to be the best middle ground.

Hey thanks so much for the info guys!

Yeah it is my DailyDriver, I have 275/40/17 Pirelli all-seasons on there no, kept spinning off the line at the track, I just want some really sticker rubber for the track and street now that the weather is warm.

Nitto NT555R a good choice for the rear? Think i can use the same size I currently have?

Thanks! (sorry for thread-jack, OP!)

Yes a nitto 555r in a 275/40/17 would work perfect for your dd they easily last the longest out of all the dr's and they hook up great on the street.

They will hook WAY better than an all season tire. You'll be amazed
