You just cut off the two IAT wires and hook them up to your IAT sensor.
ok I must be dumb because that wiring diagram only says that pin 6 is for the IAT sensor... and there are defiantly two pins on the back of the IAT sensor. And on top of that, HOW do you connect a wire to the IAT sensor w/out a harness/plug? Do I need to buy one somewhere?

Okay, On your current MAF there are 6 plugs/wires that go into it. The 2 wires on the outside (1 pin and 6 pin) are the IAT sensor wires. You basically cut those off so your MAF now only has 4 wires running to it and the 2 outside pins have nothing attached to them. You take those 2 wires and connect them to the 2 wires on your new IAT sensor. 99 Mustang GT's had it separate and the 04's had the IAT as part of the MAF. Because you are intercooling you need to separate the two so that your IAT sensor is seeing the temperature going into the throttle body. If you don't, then it will read the IAT's pre intercooler which does you no good.
