Arp rod bolts


If I would put ARP rod bolts in would it withstand more hp than stock?

arp studs would be stronger than the stock bolts if thats what ur asking. ur engine wont be able to withstand more than a normal engine though... if thats what ur asking lol

I think he's asking about the rod bolts, not the studs.

If you're building an engine it's a good idea to go with ARP hardwear when you can. I think the ARP 2000 rod bolts hold more HP than the other ARP number

in your stock rods? the caps and fasteners arent the weak points. ARP's hardware is good stuff, the 8740 fasteners will hold more than most will put thru them.

What is the weak point in the stock bottom end the rods themselves?
