My 2000 GT + Tork Tech build


Ok so this isn't the full build thread. I am not entirly finished yet, I just though I would post some pics of the progress. I am taking alot of pics along the way, and as soon as its all said and done i will do a write up. In the meantime enjoy.

Sorry for not having a whole lot of information. I am at lunch right now, and will post some more later tonight.



Just a few of the parts that have came off so far.

i really want to do this to my vert, i recently found a 03 cobra eaton, intake, throtle body and injectors for 210, but i wm broke right now so now i am sad

A local guy completed his swap about a year ago, he was the 1st one to actually pull it off, using a custom lower intake and the Cobra intercooler and pulled over 400rwhp on a safe tune with stock exhaust manifolds and a stock 2V engine, so there's some potential in that kit as long as it's similar to the prototype he recieved. I know the intercooler is different on the production piece, but I'm not sure how much different.

I was very surprised at the numbers it pulled, pretty impressive.

Didn't know it was private.

Key Points: 402rwhp, 460 ft lbs of torque with a perfect air fuel ratio. Stock longblock car. Car made over 400ft lbs from 2500rpm's all the way to 5500. 14lbs of boost, I believe.

Sounds like a fun ride.
