new oil pump/pan?

I was just wondering, with the current numbers my Bullitt is throwing down, if I'd need a high volume oil pump and bigger pan. I rarely drive at high RPMs, so I wouldn't think so. But when I got my car dynoed at JBA last year, they mentioned it was one of the areas that would need upgrading, along with fuel/ignition stuff. I am happy with the power, especially since she's my DD. Some people are telling me it would help the motor run more "efficient."

410rwhp is not an insane amount of horsepower for the factory pump. At the most, maybe upgrade to the Cobra pump, but I wouldn't do a teardown just to replace it at this point. If you do cams or something that requires removing the timing cover, that would be the time to do it.

I wouldn't worry about replacing it unless you were in there to put in forged internals

I really want to, but these damn Cali emission laws limit what I can do. Plus, I've been neglecting my Cougar for too long.
