just making sure before i order


so im about to order my 4.10's, and yes you guys convinced me.
im getting the 4.10's
3 bottles on 75w90 royal purple gear oil
and the motive bearing re build kit.
is that everything?

Are you having them installed, or doing it yourself? Don't use the rear gasket that comes with it, use permatex, or whatever the name of it is.

A paper gasket comes with it, and from what I have read is very prone to leaking. Ya you can pick that stuff up at any parts store. Here it is.

So instead of the gasket, use that RTV?

5 speed. It gets you up into the RPM's way quicker. 1st gear is now pretty much usless though.

um i used the paper gasket no leaks. fl8 gt also used the gasket cause i rmember asking about it. looks cheap but she holds.

i think you would be happier with 3.73's..... if you dont plan on boosting or anything. and i think 3.73s pull just as hard and you still have some top end

i went with 75w140 royal purple in my rear end with my 4.10s installed last weekd and no problems here
