EXHAUST, on Modular 4.6

So I am working on the final touches on my 04 GT and I find myself in desperate need of long tube headers. Currently I have a Basanni Offroad X Pipe and a Borla Catback. I have found some BBK Long tubes for a good price and I was wondering if I was able to attach BBK long tubes to a Basanni X without too much alteration, and if so, what are we lookin at? Thanks for the help!!

It would probably be cheaper to just buy the mid pipe. I believe they are like 140, for the matching BBK piece.

Yea you will have to do somethin with the mid pipe. You could get the new midpipe, or youd have to have a shop custom fab the one you got.

The BBK Mid or the Basanni Mid?

DO NOT BUY PYPES!

And why are you so hot to trot for LT's? They don't do much for your car...

Do you have the 5 piece bassani midpipe? If so you can buy bassani mid-length headers and take the two chunks out of your midpipe and it'll bolt right on

I'm a fan off the BBK longtube headers and off road mid-pipe. Easy install for me. Really thinking of finishing my exhaust right with the Borla Stnger catback.

Thats interesting, I hadnt thought about that. I do know that the X pipe has an extension in it, does that mean that if I take out the extension then the Basanni Midpipe will fit right up to that without any alterations?

I need to do Headers because with my setup I am not getting full gains out of my Midpipe back. I need more airflow to gain my full horsepower. It has stage 2 comp cams (550 lift) and now a TrickFlow intake manifold and i need more airflow out the exhaust because of how much air the manifold sucks in. I guess i could do shortys if thats what your saying but i would just rather get as much gain as i can, possibly doing a basanni mid length header

I LOVE the sound of my Borla catback. Sounds infinitely better than any other modular exhaust i have ever heard, besides maybe a full basanni
