Sct 4 bank problems..

I sucessfully installed the 4 bank chip but when I change settings while sitting idling it stalls out especially going from my performance / economy tunes to stock. Anyone know why this is? How to avoid it ? Or if that's even supposed to happen?

Is the chip intended to be switched while the car is on? I don't have one, but I always assumed the car was supposed to be off when switching between tunes.

Only thing I can think of is it's changing timing and spark to quickly for the IAC to keep up. That's STRICTLY a guess, I really don't know.

Interesting. I read the "on the fly" part, but I guess I assumed they were just referring to the convenience of not having to plug in a tuner. ...I guess we know what happens when you assume.

as I read that description, I agree with andrew. I take that to mean "you can do it anywhere, without plugging anything in", not as in, "while the car is running"

Yea thats kinda what i assumed but i think your right about the iac not bieng able to keep up while idling because it changes no problem while im moving. I really wish i knew for sure though wether or not its good for it to be changed while driving.
