Stance Issue

So after I installed my LCA's I thought the stance looked off for the longest time, but never really thought anything of it. I figured the LCAs must of raised the height. Then yesterday I went out to measure the hight from the sidewall of the tires to the fender and the passenger side is 1/4inch higher then my driver side, driverside is normal height I think. but the passenger side looks skyjacked. Could I have put the spring back in wrong or would this be caused from something else? Shocks are not leaking or anything, and I don't see how the shocks would cause the ride height to be raised even if they were bad.

Any ideas?

check to see if your springs are sitting properly. i pulled the front springs on my car and ended up with the same issue. pulled out the spring that was in wrong and made sure i put it back in right and it was fixed

hope this helps

When you set your springs in, are they both situated the same? Make sure the ends of the spring point the same way at the bottom of the coil.

Both pigtails toward drivers side.

Make sure your iso's are sitting right.

Don't worry about the way it sits man, all of my springs are seated properly with the ends facing outward on all 4 corners and it still doesn't sit right. I dunno why our cars do this but I have seen a few threads on this before, if it's not a huge difference I wouldn't get too worked up over it.

Thats weird, I would have to either turn my right spring 180 degrees or put it in upside down to get it to point outward. They both twist in the same direction. You could always invest in some MM adjustable perch lower control arms, but you just put new ones in. If it sat level b4 the ca's and they are the same springs, something isn't right. Be it the perch, the iso's or the ca's themselves.

mine does the same with about 3 different sets of springs...doesn't matter what spring...and the pigtail is always facing the right way and the iso is always seated correctly...mines also just a little under a quarter inch off...

How old are your shocks? My car used to do that on my 100k old shocks, and after replacing it, it sits even now.
