yeah i checked the connection but its fine could the sensor be dirty? or would something else do it

Hit it with some TB Cleaner and let it air dry...Then take negative battery cable off for about 15 minutes...Put the cable back on and start it up...Let it run without hitting the gas for like 15 - 20 minutes...It should be good if it is the MAF
