Does this sound reasonable?

Ok, I just got quoted $575 + tax by a dyno shop about 2 hrs. from me. This was for: SCT Xcal2 tuner, tuning, and dyno time.

Does this price sound reasonable for all this? I'm not going to be doing any of this until I get my lt's and new midpipe, but I was searching around for dyno shops the other day and this was the closest that had an in house dyno.

sounds good to me. The SCT is like 350-400 depending on where you buy it, the dyno time costs 80 for three runs, and then the tuning on the dyno costs more, so sounds reasonable to me!

Well, he also told me this: If I wanted to, I could do 3 pulls on the dyno for $85. If I wasnt happy with the way my #'s were and my a/f, then we could go to the whole tuning thing, and he wouldnt charge me for the 3 initial pulls.

BTW, the place is called Dynotune Motorsports, has anyone heard of/been to it? Its in Galloway, Ohio.

I think the most important question is what other mods do you have? Please tell me you're not getting a dyno tune after just headers and a mid pipe.

lol, no. I will have: JLT ram air intake, BBK 75mm tb/plenum, mac lt's, some kind of catted h, and Borla Stingers.

Keep in mind though, I'm not trying to make this car a track only car or anything. Its my daily and I just want to get the most out of it, and not have my wallet screaming at me for it being a daily. After I get the lt's, mid, and tune done, I'll be doing Ford C springs, tinted windows, and probably wheels. Then I'll be just about done with the car completely until I graduate college in December and can afford to get another car.

With those mods I think you should get a tuner, but I don't really think you need a dyno tune. Both the Xcal and diablosport predator allow you to email your tune with a list of your mods to one of thier dealers and they will email you a tune for your mods. Yes a dyno tune is more accurate, but I don't think you really have enough mods to need the dyno tune. Your gains between the two tunes will not be that great.
