differential upgrade


im planning to upgrade the differential, im planning to buy the eaton posi differential locking, the driveshaft aluminum, and the gears 4.10. Is it a good choise what do you guys recommend

get a 31 spline eaton and 31 spline axles(moser) and you would be set up for DRs.IMO you should do the job once and once only.if you wanna save money you could get a new 03-04 cobra trac-lok(under $300) since they are 31 spline to begin with. if you get the axles instead of the driveshaft
you would just about spend the same amount with a lot more strength.

one of the guys i know ran mid 11s with a tune,longtubes and 4.30s
with 31 splined rear and DRs

eaton is the best diff, go with some 31 spline moser acles and whatever gears you want and youll be set up to run faster than 10s. which you wont but itll handle that kind of power. i wouldnt worry about the driveshaft unless you just want to. i dont think your near the power level to break the driveshaft
