Which engine? You guys opinions?
Well I have a nice deal worked out locally at a buddy's salvage yard to get 04 terminator motor w/ supercharger and all accessories as well as the T56 for around 7k which is a damn good deal in my book however now i'm having a change of heart...
What do you guys think would be better for the money? Go with that motor, or get a built shortblock rated to around 700HP or so and throw a centri blower like vortech or procharger on it? I've been told a high HP centri car is a lot more streetable than a high hp roots car like the terminator. I've always like the centrifugal blower anyways... |

build up your 2v, a lot easier than switching to the 4v. although it doesnt have the potential as the 4v heads 600 hp is a lot of damn horsepower

from what i have seen between the two, they both are about the same as far as streetability. the only negatives is see is the roots/screw types are quite a bit stronger on the bottom, but the big head units on the centifugals are loud (most of them). i like being the underdog with the 2v, but the gt badges make for a nice suprise with a 4v. if i were to be in your shoes right now, i would probably go with a built 2v.

i would build the 2v. you can get plenty of power out of it and there will be less bugs to work out than if you did the terminator motor swap

I'd do the swap. Yes 600 HP is a lot of HP but with the swap and a KB kit you'll be there already with the ability to go much further.
