Service engine soon light blinking.....

WTF.... I took her for a quick drive to see if that would clear the light but it didnt... Was boggy, hesitating, jerky, then the light started blinking!!!!!!!!!! What could it be? Just got it tuned up last week.

could be a lot of things, though if the light is on take it to a local shop they should be able to run a code scan on it.

A blinking CEL indicates a multiple misfire, you've got a problem in eithier the ignition or fuel system somewhere. Could be anything from a bad plug or coil, a bad injector, or a sensor causing the a/f ratio to be way too lean or too rich.

Take it to AutoZone and get them to check the code.

By what he said I would go through and check those spark plug wires and make sure they hook them back up correctly after the tune up.

I don't see what's so complicated about this. The check engine light is on. A code is set. Get it scanned. See what the code means. Go from there.

Why would you do anything without checking the code?

if the light is blinking it can be more than a misfire(s), and you are suppose to shut the car down. go have a diag done, that will tell you all the problems.

The blinking light means a Misfire is occuring and continued operation like this can damage the cats. Sounds like a recheck on who-ever did the tuneup

...And jealousy rears it's ugly head. She'll get over it, my wife did. "How can you enjoy spending so much ime with a car? Where do you go when you just go out for a drive? How come you never ask me to take a ride with you?" I've heard them all. Why would I ask you to come if you hate the car? HELLO?!?

Oh, I was kidding NBK. She'd never say it but she thinks it. She's only said "I'm not into that" so far but I haven't put a Prochamber on it yet. Then we'll see if the H word comes out...

Well my wife is better than she was. She used to ride with one hand on the door handle thingy and one on the dash. Now she only looks around when 'I accelerate. I let her drive it once. She said she liked it, but it made me a nervous wreck. LOL
