Don't be surprised if this gets moved to electronics.

I just installed a new head unit in mine. The harness was a little confusing but I got her figured out.

Not to thread jack or anything but, how did you change the bulbs in the dash and still have the needles still light up? Everyone i have seen the needles are dim or dull but yours are bright. oh and nice radio ive been looking at a few of these.

That is not an aftermarket gauge face, its the stock gauges. They look 100% normal when not lit but when lit there blue instead of green. And it SUCKED to do, guess i can do a quick writeup.......
1. Remove cluster
2. Break down all the way to main board and over lay
3. Dremel off all the green on the overlay
4. Glue some blue film behind the overlay
5. Put reflective tape on backside of gauge housing
6. Replace all the halogen bulbs with LED's
7. Use a 9 volt battery on the back of the motors to set needles accurately
8. Reassemble cluster.
This is a VERY brief explination, it took me about 6hrs to do this.

how much boost do you run?
Long story short i had the money and everything set up for a KB but broke my leg and knew i would not be able to drive it for months so i used all the SC money for a new paint job.

If you literally look like 5 or 6 posts up it answers your question????

sorry if I come off as a dick im just tired and the thread isn't long at all for you to read it all. But dremeled off the stock green, put the blue tinted film over them, installed reflective tape, and LED's. He also posted a video to help like 3 or 4 posts above.

Hmmm.... that looks familiar....
Same headunit in my car, its really one of the better radios I've owned. I changed the color to a shade of green to match the interior lights at night.
