Just Got Done Running a 89 LX 5.0

Alright my mods are posted in my sig here are the 5.0's mods
Mods
3.73 Gears
Eldelbrock Intake
BBK Shorty Headers
Off Road H Pipe
Flow Master Mufflers
K&N Filter
Ford Racing wires Bosch plugs
Short Throw Shifter

I ran till about 80MPH approx 1/8th mile and the guy who was watching the race from the side street said it was roughly a 2 1/2-3 car link lead I had on him I was still pulling but not strong like from 2nd to 3rd. Not sure how good a older 5.0 runs with those mods but the driver is pretty good and I was thinking I was gonna beat him by more than that but considering the mods and the car may wieght a lil less

now im just making excuses lol hey a wins a win.

He doesnt have much gains from those mods on the 5.0.
But like ya said a win is a win! WTG
