Bottle in a Bag

Yes I have used it in a couple of different cars. It has it's advantages, and disadvantages. Like most things!!(LOL) The biggest (+) is that it is very easy to install, and you can use it in any vehicle you want. The biggest
(-) is that it has a remote switch/button that you have to press when you want the spray activated. Which means you hold in your left hand with the steering wheel, and shift with your right. Can be a little tricky until you get the hang of it. If you forget to let off the button when shifting can cause a backfire. Trust me on this!!(LOL) Blew a hole in the airbox on my old 95 GT.

where do you get nitrous for your tank? I'm considering getting some spray, but i don't know a lot about it.

this "bottle in a bag" kit looks like it's a good starter kit for anyone. how much does nitrous oxide cost? and how long does a bottle last (I know there are different sizes, but any idea would be helpful)??

are there any chances of blowing anything up on a stock motor with this kit?

The bottle in the bag is perfect for someone to start getting their feet wet in nitrous...

I actually like Compucar Set-ups...They are very easily user controlled...

I have had this kit for 10 years and it has worked great for me in my fox mustangs! My friend used it in a 04 mach and it worked great. it is truely the easiest set up ever and my fox picked up 1.2 sec on the big shot! I have this same thread going in 2005 section! I have an 08GT and am curious to use it on the S197 but have heard mixed stories on the touchy S197s! Has anyone heard of anyone using this on a S197 while were in the discussion??????

Hey Guys I had previously asked if anyone had ever run the compucar Dry kit through the mass air ( Nitrous in a bag kit ) & I installed it yesterday on my 08 GT and took it to the track in Bristol! I ran 1 heat range colder Brisk plugs 110 octane feul and a 93 Bama Tune (Not a N2O Tune). The kit is a 100 shot and I picked up form 13.25 to 12.21@115! Thought you guys might be interested to know you dont have to pull 4 degrees of timing for a 100 shot and get a diff tune! Ofcourse I wouldnt have tried it on stock plugs & 93 octane!

Do explain. They are talking about letting off the nitrous right before it shifts. How would you control that in an auto?

Dont let off for shifting an automatic! Theres no chance of a missed shift!
