Daytime running lights

I'd like to shut mine off. Can anybody give me a sense of direction onto disableing it?

Why would you take them off? All its gonna do is get you a ticket/inspection and you will have to put the relay back in... Its a Law in Canada about DRL's and any car coming into canada has to have them.

when you want to run the fogs and tails, the corners come on. I too thought about finding the fuse or something for them and yanking it. It was that simple on my monte carlo... im sure made it near impossible. haha

Also if you really want to I think the last mustang I took apart at work was under the front bumper/grill area but dont quote me on it. Its just a module that u can unplug.

Its just the law that everycar needs to have them. Its honestly not even that big of a deal...

DRLs are required in Canada and quite a few other countries so they're standard on every car. They come on automatically.

that sucks dude. I can run corners and fogs by just pulling the headlight switch out half way. The tails come on too.

I don't think it is the law to have to drive with your DRL. They have to be imported or manufactured that way but I have yet to see a law that says you must drive with them on.

I didn't know our mustangs did that. I thought it was either off, switch halfway out turning on the fogs and corner lights, or switch all the way on and you could switch between regular and brights

In Canada they come that way but as far as I know, not in the US. But ya it sucks because you can't turn them off. If your parking brake is not on your lights will.
