Differences in COBRA = 96-04
Does anyone have a list or know where I can get a list of the changes in cobras from 96-04, exterior and performance especially? Thanks in advance.

the body style is completey different. the heads on the cars are different, the 03-04 are supercharged, they also have 6 speed. 305 hp vs 390 hp

What I meant was. 97 Cobra vs 98 Cobra vs 99 Cobra vs 01 Cobra etc etc etc. (not even sure if those are the right years) Because I know for a fact the 96 GT was better than the 98 GT, 99 V6 was weaker than the 01 V6, etc. Basically im looking for a buyers guide to cobras. But yeah, thanks for the response. |

go look on ebay, you can comapre a bunch on there. as for the 96gt being better then the 98 not true, they have the exact same motor in them the 99 was better then the 96-98. the 03-04 is by far the best of the cobras

The 97-98s made around 305hp and came with a 5 sp and straight axle the heads on these cars are well suited for S/C.the 99-01 cobras had 320
hp and 5 sp IRS,these cars heads and intake are different from the 97-98s.03-04s made 390 hp using an eaton S/C with forged pistons and manley rods,6sp and an IRS.the heads are a different design than the others.
