Performance questions

So I'm looking to spend about $11,000 on my car performance wise. I'm guessing $4,000 for the engine, $2,000 for the suspension, $2,000 for the brakes, and $3,000 for the drivetrain
do these seem pretty accurate?
which supercharger should i get? some say kb, some say whipple, and some say procharger, so im curious.

just enough power, not drag, but more of a street machine that can beat the vettes, lol. although with only 4000 towards the engine, its not gunna beat a corvette, still. basically just a fast street car.

for 11k you could just drop an 03 cobra motor and t-56 in it and have some cash left to spend

KB s/c FTW. Look at steeda stuff for your suspension and brakes.... +1 2k for brakes seems a little high.

On the brakes just go with Cobra front and rear...Maybe a grand at most...

Go with the KB if you want low end grunt...

Personally I would go with a nice single turbo set-up...

Or a Procharger or Vortech...

another thing
where can i buy a cobra crate engine, i look on the ford racing site and all i see is a mach 1 engine, which is basically the same minus the supercharger, but still, that is 6,800. supercharger would be 4,000, and the t-56 would be about 3,000. so anyone know a better place to get one?

I wouldn't. It would be a waste of money when you can buy a used Cobra motor cheaper. Plus the Mach 1 does not come equipped with forged rods or pistons.
