how to make a bullitt proof rear end

How would you make a stock 03 5spd mustang gt rear end suppourt up to 700hp?

eaton differential 31 spline, and moser 31 spline axles, welded axle tubes adn rear support system, should handle 700. wont be a rpoblem on the steet cuz youll never hook but at the track, that should hold up pretty good. you could step it up even more with 33 spline stuff.

also how do you plan to get these 700 hp

Well i decided to take the engein out and do a complete rebuild from ground up with everything including a KB blower.

well what are you doing to make you think youll get 700 hp. that takes a little bit of money and a well thoguht out engine program

im not tryin to say its not possible but just keep in mind all the other supporting things u need to upgrade. fuel system,tranny,suspension etc. its possible but trust me keep all this stuff in mind so you dont underestimate ur budget.

moser 33 spline axles, c-clip eliminators, spool, weld up axle tubes, weld tq boxes. That can hold almost anything you can throw at it. Just surprised that if you have the knowledge on whats going to give you 700hp that you won't have the knowledge of what rearend parts to get. I will tell you know you are going to have to have good cams, great heads, good intake, and over 23 pounds of boost, not to mention a good fuel system. Hell i spend 10k on my motor, still don't have a great intake, or fuel system, hell not even the blower for it yet. hope you have about 25-30k to spend there buddy

well hopefully if everything works out i am inheriting 25k from my aunt when she passed away, so after paying off some bills and putting money in saving i should still have about 12 to play with, i am putting a procharger F1C on my car with an automatic tranny and return style fuel system. Hoping for a little over 900hp

i was gonna do an auto to go a little faster but mine is too much of a steet car and i want it to still be fun as hell to drive, so im just gonna settle with 600+ and a 6 speed still pull 10s and be fun as hell to drive

so how are my speakers working out for ya. mine is nowhere near a street car now, between the exhaust, whining rearend, spherical bushings, spool, no ac/stereo its a pain in the ass to drive. I plan on buying an 03 cobra vert here in the next year or so just to drive around and enjoying the sport of just driving.

Dont forget about the ford9" cuz itll handle anything you can throw at it
and you could get one for around 2500 dollars that will fit right in your car

yep cause i got my rearend used out of my friends 03 cobra for 700 bucks and he even put my 4.30's in it from my old rearend and installed the 3.73 gears from that one into my old one so i could sell it.

Im not reallly looking to get 700hp, more like 600hp. just playing it safe by saying 700hp. Better to be safe than sorry. And i have a lot of money to spend on this car.
