c-clips eliminators are used primarily on race only cars, the c clips are what keep the axles from coming out

Does this sound right about using the SCT xcal 2

Right now I am running 87 octane. Should let the tank run almost empty and then fill it with 93 let that run to half a tank before I use the the 93 octane tune.

you dont have to let it run that long. when i change form my 91 tune to my 101 tune, i will run the 101 for about 20 miles on the 91 tune and then set it on the 101 tune. it gives it time for it to burn all of the 91 that you had in the lines when you filled up wiht race gas. this has worked for me great and ive never ran into and kind of detonation
