Damn are all 4.6 Auto this slow????

Last Saturday night I took my dd 01 GT Auto to the track for shits and giggles. Best pass was 9.42 @76mph with a no too bad 2.10 60'. All stock except a K&N and driver mod. lol

yeah thats pretty slow. mine ran 6 tenths faster stock as well

will be going with a stoker built motor as well. But first I am going to build everything for the power. Build from the rear to the front.

Your lucking your going DD converter tho. I am hoping in a full years there Alan will have an awesome lock up 4R stall!

My 2001 5-speed ran a 8.90 with a shifter, nothing else. Hard to believe it's that much quicker

I like the "driver mod" on the auto... theres not too much skill other than keeping it straight while its broken loose.

there not that great stock but im boosting mine right now then a stall and tranny cooler some gears and cams and obviously some nice wheels and hoosiers to go on the rear my 14.4 was with just a intake BTW

My car's bone stock run with the spare tire and my golf clubs in the trunk did a 13.98, I'll have to find the old timeslips to see what it was in the 1/8th mile.

with out nitrous i ran like a flat 14, and our drag strip is the airport and it goes a lil up hill...
on the 3rd im going to try the spray and new driving tips.. il post vids,pic and and my time slip...

i think i say this every time someone talks about auto's and i wish i had an auto. driving stick just eats tires and is vary inconsistant. i would be so much faster with a fully built auto, stall, and a break
