Well, a boost controller only allows him to boost more than he boosts stock. So he could be boosting something crazy like 25psi and totally waste you and possibly a cobra. I dont know how fast they are stock but im sure someone will post a factory time up here. But if he is 13.8-14.0 stock then youre done with for sure. and quite possibly a 03-04cobra.

Correct me if im wrong but if he has a stock turbo system besides the controler he will not be able to boost that much higher without uprading things.
He will not be able to take cobras but he should be able to take bone stock GT's.

A Z32 is very stout from the factory and you can easily add more boost to them without upgrading anything (not a whole lot more boost) but some. They are a 13 second car.

He will get a few psi out of it but not a whole lot more... I have a 280 so know about those and they would need blow off valves and that sort of upgrading to be able to handle more boost. The block it self can handle a lot. But not sure about the 300s they have a totally different engine than the 280s.

the 300zx's tt's stock are pretty fast I raced one with my 91 GT when I had it and it took it pretty good they run around low 14's to high 13's depending on the year stock I don't know exactly how much a boost controller would allow it to increase though

They are a high 13 second car...
It should be a good race...Although if you are bone stock he will get you... Also I am basing this on the fact that his car is stock (or just the boost controller)... If above is true then he is full of it with his claims of beating 03/04 Cobras... |
