Question

dad wants my mustang so

hes going to buy it off me at the end of the year. Anyways he wants to upgrade the parts specially the suspension and to get rid of the 4x4 look.

Suspension list

Vogtland lowering springs 1.6f 1.6r
Koni STR.T shocks and struts
Steeda upper adj rear control arms
MM HD adj rear lower control arms
Bumpsteer kit
QA1 caster camber plates
MM subframe connectors.

Then hes ordering GT4 Rims with NT05 tires.

What do you think? any suggestions on shocks and struts? I went with Koni STR.T cause of price and heard good things about it.

Bilistein HD's for shocks bro, the Germans know their shit! haha Well what is his goals with the car? IMO he should add a MM panhard bar, and torque arm so he doesn't have to worry about the shitty UCA's in the rear! haha I would stay MM on all the parts due to there knowledge and testing of thier parts. SFC's are a must. haha With the lowering springs I have the Eibach sporlines but, most don't like the drop so I most would say ford racing or Eibach pro kit or any other big name companies that drop 1.5. Hope this helps. If so reps yo! haha

Vogtland lowering springs 1.6f 1.6r- Replace with H&R Super Sports
Koni STR.T shocks and struts-Those suck, get real koni's or get bilsteins.
Steeda upper adj rear control arms-Seems like ur dad is trying to turn, so I would get a MM 3 link
MM HD adj rear lower control arms-Good
Bumpsteer kit-Good
QA1 caster camber plates-Get MM CC plates
MM subframe connectors

It would also be a good idea to replace sway bar endlinks and busings, get a pinnion snubber, etc.

he is. Me and him are going to install it all and then take it to get aligned.

Im guessing we will go with the H&R SS but he still rather have the Vogtlands.

are they not great springs???

I was wondering would it be worth upgrading the UCA? if Im getting the panhard bar?

Well push came to shove my dad wanted me not to get the new one he wants to me to keep the one Im helping him with. so I may either end up having 2 or just do a son and father build on the 2000 and wait a couple years for the new 5.0

But atleast me and him are doing something together.

Well to answer your question, if you are eventually getting a MM torque arm, then UCA's would be a waste.
