99-04 mustang gt's have 260 flywheel horsepower. You can find them in decent shape for $5000-$8000.
Pro's : -It's not a shitbox honda -It sounds nice...unlike a shitbox honda -It looks nice...unlike a shitbox honda -Runs High 13's with a good driver Cons : - It's not ls1 powered Last edited by MustangGT06; June 24th, 2010 at 09:01 PM. |

2v' suck with just basic bolt ons. put an ebay cai, full exhaust, and then save for a power adder, all other mods are pretty pricey and not worth it

![]() To the OP (still dont know what OP stands for except its for the person who started the thread) If you can afford a Mach 1 do that. Their only a couple more grand then a GT. And they are much better. They have 4V heads which are awesome, the motors breathe so good. A GT is also really good, they make 260hp and about 225-230rwhp. The ONLY way youll see 300rwhp is if you do full bolt ons with Longtube Headers, and Cams....You may need heads to hit more than 300rwhp. At that point, might as well buy a used supercharger.

The actual abbreviation is nhp for net horsepower. That is the rating system that has been used since 1972. But most use bhp to designate hp at the block. (It actually stands for brake horsepower not block hp.) If you use fwhp (front wheel hp) it gets confusing.

Eagle, I never looked at your sig, but I couldnt agree more. People are like I had this big block Nova that would beat this Mustang. Yea that Cobra with a 281ci motor can make 500+rwhp pretty easily.

No it can't and it has nothing to do with Mustangs. It's a national rating system.
