My car starts weird....

So im taking my car into the shop monday morning.... whenever i go to start the car it just cranks and i have to push on the gas a little bit to get it started, then it'll just fire up. Problem is, i have to push on the gas!!!

The thing is, it does not do it all the time, just typically once the car has warmed up and i'm taking it for short little trips around town. It'll start up perfect though off a cold start... Thoughts?

ya...? haven't really heard that one thrown around. The place i talked to said they just thought it was something wrong with the engine not getting fuel correctly, or possibly some kind of an electrical problem. And very likely a combination of both! So we'll see, hopefully someone on here has some better insight!

Don't know actually, haven't checked. I dont have cats on my car so the check engine light is always on...just never really crossed my mind actually! One of my friends maybe thought it was the fuel filter. Idk, car i just have the problem when the car starts, and only when its warmed up. But cold starts its fine, and it drives perfect besides that.

First thing I would do is check for codes other than your 02 sensor codes.

I might do that. A long time ago i always had a cylinder 3 misfire code show up, and 2 shops said they fixed the problem, but whenever i went to like an advanced auto place or whatever it always showed up, so are those things really trustworthy?
