Ordered 2 new tires

so the tires that came with my GT must have gotten fucked up along the beads because it wont keep a good seal so i went ahead and ordered a couple 275/40 r 17 sumitomos

i was just curious if anyone has used these tires before?

keep in mind i didnt buy these to burn them into the street (they seemed like good street tires for a fair price)

they are good for burning into the street. I heard they don't hook for shit. I do love the tread pattern though.

i have them on mine and they dont hook good at all from a dig. they do good through turns and in the rain though.

you will be happy with them while they are new. i had them as well and ran good for about 7 months but when they went bad the went real bad.

well as long as they last me for my moneys worth, the stang isnt a DD anymore, and when I do drive it im not out racing, just enjoying a relaxing cruise

i bought the htr z once and im buying them again.lasted me for over 2 years and that was with my front end out of line for almost a year.but i dont race or go to the drag strip so im not worried about hook up,the sumo's are fine with me

I run these on my car on the street. They are great for the money. Honestly in their price range I am not sure you can beat these tires.

sweet this is good news, they sounded like a good deal, i had just never heard of the brand before

a lot of the problem with tires is that people write a review based on how well they do in a race on the street

if im gonna race im buying an extra set of rims with nice drag radials, not street tires

you ALWAYS get what you pay for in a tire.. i run bfg super sport a/s's nothing can beat the wet performence... things hook almost as well in the dry....

For about $30 more per tire you could have had nitto drag radials.

the sumos will do you good for a dd.i like my htrz's but im not trying to spin mine everytime i start the car.its just a dd
