front end slack

i have just replace both outer tie rods, both lower ball joints, and the driver side hub assembly.and new tires on the front and i still have a little play in my wheel.car has a alignment about 3 weeks ago.so what else could it be..inner tie rods.rack n pinion bushing or control arm bushing maybe..and how often does the inner tie rod need changed.

and its not so bad now that i have 245/45 instead of the 255/45 i had on it before

Have you looked at the rubber disc where it bolts to the rack? I have read that headers cook this gem and makes it fail. Best guess anyway. Top is stock I believe.

i would look at rack bushings, or the rag joint on steering shaft.

Check the rack itself as well.

not to hijack, but I'm in the middle of ball joint and tie rod end replacement. I'm likely to have a drivers side hub replaced as well as the caliper. How was the hub replacement compared to, say, the ball joints?

hub assembly is a piece of cake, pull you caliper off, caliper bracket and rotor and then get you a 36mm socket and remove the nut and hub assembly should come right off,if not tap it with a hammer.and while you that far into it, change out your ball joint..dont disconnect your tie rod right away, wait until you have the ball joint nut off,the tie rod helps hold ur spindle into place while taking the nut off
