PATS wont let me start my car
So I have been reading and have figured that it is the PATS that wont let me start my car. It is a 2002 GT and the PATS has been tripped. The PCM was fried and I have replaced that but from what i have read I will now need to reprogram my PATS. My problem is that I have only one key and would like to know if I buy a SCT X3 can I just turn off the PATS system on my car and not worry about it anymore or will I have to give out the 300+ to the dealership to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
