Sounds like I am getting a new engine again

Well the unthinkable has happened again. I just got the engine replaced in November and now it sounds like I need a new one. I was leaving work tonight when I decided to do a burn out and then bam! It started making the real loud ticking sound again like it did when I blew the engine before. This day really sucks. Luckily the engine is still under warranty. Does anyone have any idea why this shit keeps happening?? I am almost ready to cry.

Yeah I had just gotten an oil change not long ago, I never really beat on it, just like an occational burn out every so often, I dont do them that much because I hate buying new tires, I am not sure how high I reved it but it didnt make the noise until after the tires finished spinning. Also what is detonating? How would I know if it is? As far as the tune, I have no idea. I havent even had the car a year now.

Did you replace the last engine with a new or used engine? Was it the same 4.6L 2V or did you upgrade? What do you plan to get this time?

Yeah I just put a stock 2V in it. It was a brand new engine. I am going to get the same thing because it is still under warranty so I wont have to pay like 5000 again.

So how can I check if it was detonating I mean it sounded like it was running right and everything except some times when I would be going down the highway I would step on it and it would kind of sputter a little for a second

I mean everything sounded fine before last night. It sounded nice smooth and loud. I guess whenever I get it back I was thinking of putting it on a dyno to get the air/fuel ratio and see what that is at. Also I have an offroad prochamber but the check engine light was never on. Does this mean that it was tuned prior to me having it? And could that mean that I am either using the wrong type gas or it was done wrong? The guy that I had it from before never said that he had it tuned or used a hand held tuner but there was one other owner before him.
