Source for interior trim pieces?

I pulled the shifter bezel off and broke the clips that holt the shifter boot on. The part is $100 at the dealership, I'd like to see if I can beat that price before I buy.

Thanks.

I checked ebay and found a nice one. I asked the guy about the clips for the boot mount and he said the were melted.

I asked him to explain and he said when the shifter boot trim ring is pressed onto the clips of the shifter bezel, the plastic tabs are melted slightly to keep the shifter boot trim ring on.

I don't know if that's true or not but he said none of his clips were broken, they were melted, and it would be difficult to reuse. So I didn't buy it and have been looking for a new one.

I looked at your link and noticed there were two shifter bezels with the shifter boot still attached so it makes me wonder if he wasn't right.

The bonding adhesive at Autozone is no joke. That stuff turns to cement in like 10 minutes, except it works on plastic. When I put on my Billet dppr panel parts I broke the plastic on the underside that holds the buttons up in place. I used that stuff and they hacen't budged. I use the window controls and the door lokks every time I get in the car, so you know it holds up.

if you need any parts there is no other better place than 50resto.com. They have great prices and will have any part that you can think of. I have delt with them for over 4 years and are quick on shipping and easy to deal with. If you have a frame you can almost build a whole damn car from this site. They have everysingle interior piece that you can think of from push pins to just a damn screw that you need. Hell they even have the factory stickers from the engine bay and everything. If you can't find it on there site then it doesn't exist

I can't find a glove box for an 04 GT on their site, I've looked everywhere... when I bought the car the idiots before me left crazy glue in the glove box and it leaked out and got stuck now it looks like shit... and I can't find a replacement... anybody have a suggestion? My only guess is searching junkyards now and hoping to find one with a tan interior

Isn't it in the glove box? Cover it with the car manual. LOL

I thought about gluing it but I knew hot glue doesn't work on plastic and I didn't know of anything better... Oh well. I'll know next time.
