Whats a good turbo setup for my 2004 mach 1?

Hey, i've been lookin around and most of the turbo set-ups i've found are crazy expensive. Does anybody know of a good turbo manufacturer with decent prices? Or how hard would it be and what would i need to put together my own kit? (i searched for this before i posted and didn't find anything, hopefully you guys haven't answered this a million times).

most turbo setups for our cars are going to be pretty expensive. the HP turbo setups look like they are pretty nice and have gotten a lot of positive feedback. the more time that goes by and the more products that are released, the cheaper the units will get

one of the reason the tt kits are so high is they come with a tubular k member so you have room to run the pipes. hp performance and hellion make goo kits.

There is no such thing as a cheap turbo kit, there is so much time and money in fabricating one they have to charge as much as they do. Look around on other modular sites for used kits but you still take a risk with that. Unless you are a master welder, fabricator, have a lift, and about 200 hours at least of time just to mock up a system then i wouldn't try to make your own.

i think you would be better off going with a supercharger. with the turbos, you wont be able to take advantage of them becasue youve got a stock motor.

You will be better off with a supercharger on the stock block...

I get pretty decent gas mileage on my car with the vortech on it...But when you get into it you can see the gas gauge move alittle bit...

So this might seem like a stupid question but a positive displacement blower is gonna use alot more gas then a centri blower right? Like a kenne bell vs a vortech for example.

no it wont. if you stay out of boost you might only loose 1 or 2 mpg. might even gain 1 or 2
