Good advice. Its possible that the oil from the filter could reach the maf. Normally it happens when the maf is behind the filter, but at wot the air is going damn near 100mph so it could fling it everywhere, especially if it was over oiled. This happens all the time.

So what was the result on the wiggle testing while logging? also remember that the maf is VERY sensitive to orientation. If you move it at all that could cause issues.
