Header install help

ok i have my 04 mustang gt convertibale automatic ripped apart. i have a set of llong tube slp headers, well heres the story i didnt read the instructions untill after i started to take off the stock manifolds. it says modifications may have to be done to k member on convetible models. does anyone know what has to be done?? i need help asap, slp tech line isnt open today, and if you would suggest putting hooker headers in insted i can get my hands on a set before 2 today, it says they will work with convertibles, id rather use slp though so please help..

I own the same car.. only modification i had to do .. is grind down the x-member we have connecting from engine to frame on driver side header because it would hit on the x-member

so i got a grinder & grinded it down a lil bit, doesnt really help make our cars as far as tightening up our frame

But I did have some full length subframes installed shortly after & Holy mother of god.. it made a big difference!!

#1 Modification that is a MUUUUST on Convertibles.. get some Maximum Motorsport Full length Subframes welded on
#2 on our slugs would have to be 3.73- 4:30's
