17s or 18s ???

Hey,

I'm trying to decide whether or not to go for the 17s or 18s. My GT is silver and I was thinking about the 18x9 and 18x10 Black Bullits with chrome lip or the chrome Saleens in the same size. Some say I should get 17s ; because of sidewall. What do you think I should do?? I also like the FR500s.

Some say it will be a factor for the sidewall, if I get 18s and get a Kenne Bell supercharger or TMA Turbo kit...for example. But I don't know , maybe I'm wrong? Can 18s effect anything in any way? lol

TMA is doing turbos for the GTs? I knew he was doing alot of the v6 guys turbo set-ups lately.

whats up man...im getting tires and rims too, and i cant decide either....if you get the 10.5wide rear rims with the 315s you will hook better, the 18s definately look better...i think, atleast. 17s will give you cheaper tires...I think the steering response is a little quicker with 18s, but ride is a little worse. (although if the roads around you are good, you probably wont notice that, I live in queens, NY and the roads suck ass!!)

anyway...I think im gonna get the 18s...they just look so good (FR500 or bullets)

i was talking about the 17s....the 18s only get to 10 inches wide. i think the widest tire u can get for them is a 295 35 18.....though u probably new that already

There are plenty of guys on here running 18x10.5" wheels in the back. Here is a set of Cobra wheels and tires that would look good on any Stang. You just can't go wrong with chrome!

Very true! I think I might be able to get them on Lethal Performance. Do you know anywhere else that would have them?
