conversion


alright now im asking this for a freind he has a i think 00 or 01 Mustang GT and he wants to convert it to a cobra he doesnt want to buy a cobra or anything like that dont ask me why, so what would he have to buy and get and any tips to convert his 4.6L SOHC 2V to 4.6L DOHC 4V engine thanks and roughly how much it'd cost

he would be better off just buying a cobra motor from eBay or something. I've heard that the conversion is much more expensive and a lot more complicated.

make sure he gets the wiring harness for whatever motor he buys.

it's around 5k.... thats probably why he doesn't want to buy it.

you would spend more money converting the 2v to a 4v then you would just buying the 4v.

I would personally rather have a 400RWHP 2V than a 500RWHP 4v. It will be cheaper in the long run and will probably have close to the same amount of power.
