I really can't see myself going any faster with 104.9mph trap speed either. I think I've pretty much maxed out what I have without gutting the car.

People often refer to very quick cars like Bill Putnam's or Trevor's for their model of what an N/A 2v can or should run. They rarely pay attention to how much weight they had to shed to run those times. |

It's called there's more to horsepower than max numbers. You should see the differences throughout the powerband.
Once you start modding, the Bullitt intake will always make more horsepower than the GT intake. |

the power curve and where the power is made is better with the bullitt intake rather than the GT just like bullitt5339 said

Agreed. Just a side note Ford later came out and rated the Bullitt for 275hp not the original 265. On my old Bullitt with just a JLT CAI, o/r x, SSS catback, and a canned 93 tune from a SCT XCAL2 it put me at 272 rwhp and I think it was 302 rwtq. I can't recall the tq off hand...I've slept since then. If I can find the original dyno sheet I'll post it for comparison to a regual GT with similar mods.

What does a bone stock GT actually dyno at?
My Bullitt bone stock with paper motorcraft filter and 40k miles dyno'd 238rwhp, can't remember the torque. Right now, with just C&L intake tube, open filter, offroad H, Steeda pulleys and a tune, I'm at 256/302 on BWR's dyno and 264/306 on ProDyno's mobile setup. But dyno numbers are so different depending on where you go, I just rely on the dyno for tuning, the numbers really don't mean much to me anymore, unless they're off so much it's rediculous. |
