Im gonna say throwout bearing as well. Its not uncommon. Also you could have a bent fork. Fingers may be bent. You might never know until you rip it down.

Throwout bearing usually makes squeeling noise when you push the clutch down, and will vibrate the pedal. Mine never went away when pulling up on it though. Only when i pushed down on it and put pressure on the bearing.

clutch pedal

I had two bent forks and had the same symptom. Both cars got new forks and the problem went away.

You cant really tell by looking at youre throw out bearing if its bad. I would have DEFFINATLY changed it if it were out of the car! But oh well.

The pedal itself is loose? Or are you asking what is loose? The only things up there are a bunch of pins and the quadrant. I updated mine. With Steeda parts.

i definetly would have done the clutch and tob while everything was out in the open, then again its not often i have access to the tranny like that. if your stuff is loose a clutch quadrant kit and firewall adjuster would be a good upgrade.

suggestions...

I got the ford motorsport 03 aluminum flywheel and clutch kit and the aluminum driveshaft. I am extremely happy with this setup. I have gotten twenty seven hwy. and twenty one city when driving like a q-tip. The reduced parasitic drag makes the car feel like it accelerates faster. The shaft puts out a little noise but it really isn't a bother. A good excuse for exhaust stuff.
