Smoked head/fogs with HID's.....

Really wanting to get rid of my ugly stock heads and fogs and do some smoked heads and fogs.

These
Smoked Mustang Fog Lights (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

+these

combined with these
DDM Tuning

= pure sex.

My only question is, do I go with the clear corner smoked head lights or the "factory" smoked 01+ headlights with the black housing and amber corners? My car is white, and I really don't want to completely black my front end out, but I want a nice and clean smoked look. If anyone has some pics on white Mustangs, post em up for me to check out.

Living in Az, should I worry about sealing the head lights? Also, how tough is the install on the fogs and HID kit? I am getting mixed reviews for the fog light install on AM reviews.

Products - Latemodel Restoration Supply

LRS sells the fog light assembly with the housing so it's just a bolt on.

you posted the same link twice,(posted the fogs twice)
the black housing lights look fine, much better improvement than the chrome ones you have, but i think you can do better!
i think you should do clear corners!
youve probably already seen these lights, and were probably trying to link these but i think you should get there
Dark Smoked Mustang Headlights (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

and than just check the customer pictures of the white ones with them (http://www.americanmuscle.com/enlarg...9hewiclco.html)

and even though youre in AZ i wouldnt risk it. you need to seal them, or it could be possible that youll fuck up a new set of lights

I am going to go with the heads from Ebay, the fogs from Am, and HID's from DDM tuning when I get payed in a couple weeks I think. This should make my old girl look a lot better. I cant stand the ugliness of the factory lighting system.

Just ordered everything to a T like I said I wanted! Man, I am so stoked to get these suckers installed. It's literally going to be night a day. Just cruising around around Dusk with just the fogs on is going to look insane!

If anyone could point me to some write ups for any of these items, that would be outstanding. I will be sure to post pics when they are all installed.

I've had bad luck with ebay clear corners, i sealed the hell out of the things with silicon and got a pretty good amount of water/moisture in them, enough water to actually burn out one of my bulbs, the thing blew in the housing and i had glass shards all over the housing. Ended up returning them and got my money back. Stock headlights are back on there for now but i might pick up the smoked clear corners from AM soon.

Hmm, I have actually never heard that. I do have a fairly important questions however. Do I need to seal the head lights if I am in Az? If so, what do I need to get..just some RTV at a local parts store or something? I think AM has a write up or video on this don't they? At any rate, anyone who has done this, let me know if I should of shouldn't and how to do it.

When you get these installed could you post pictures of the light patterns? Or are they going to be exactly like the stock lights and throw light everywhere?

I've got smoked headlights with amber corners, and smoked fogs. With DDM HIDs. Go with clear corners IMO.

I will be sure to take some pictures when I get everything on. It will probably be a few weeks before I have the cowl, lights, and re spray on the front bumper.
