oil in intercooler and s/c piping

okay today, i started ulling the topend apart on my stang. im getting ready to get the car out to have the new stuff installed and have tuned. anyways while i am taking off all of the piping that comes form the s/c, i notice there is a lot of dark oil insine the tubes. i get to lookg and when i get the intercooler off its got some opil in it to. what does this mean? im thinkg maybe the s/c has a seal inside that is leaking becasue the prochargers have an internal oiling system. i guess i am going to have this s/c rebuilt and upgraded to d1sc instead of going f1a. i am hoping the s/c isnt scrwewed up. what could be some other possibilties to his problem. any help would be greatly appreciated!

is the intercooler for prochargers similar to the vortech aftercooler? if theres oil in the discharge pipe your head unit needs to be rebuilt for sure. for the vortech the aftercooler is part of the discharger pipe so if i had a leak oil would get all in there, i dont know where your intercooler is though.

the intercooler for prochargers is diff from vortech. the disharge pipe comes down and goes the the front of the bumper where the intercooler is and then through the fenderwell and into the intake. i havnt looked inside the intercooler but if theres oil right near the intake in the pipe its got to be inside the intercooler also. im gonna have the prochrger rebuilt and im sure thats gonna add some more time onto the build.

ok just talked to procharger about this and its not the blower thats leakin oil. theres a tube that ges from where to pcv used to be and it goes to the inlet tube. anyways he said that occasionally some car will suck oil out of their and push it into the inlet tube.

NORMAL.... i will tell you this straight up. Its normal for a S/C motor to have small amount of oil in the tubes. Belive me.... i have worked on alot of Lightinings and Cobras.
