Front Hub Torque

hey guys, I'm replacing my front wheel hub, what's the torque spec for the spindle nut?

258 to be exact..

Most people don't have a torque wrench rated to that.. you could get a loaner from the auto store or you could impact it or you could just use a breaker bar and get it nice and tight.

If you are worried you could always throw some red loctite on it so you know it wont back off.

thanks guys, my torque wrench only goes to 150 ft-lbs, so I'll use my breaker bar and put some red loctite to be safe.

breaker bar probably still won't get it there without a huge pipe on the end as a cheater pipe...

so yeah def. use some loc tite
