NOS vs. Forced Induction

Ok im new to these forums and im sure you guys have touched on this before but i didnt find alot in the search. My wife is finally letting me start modding again (havent done much sense putting 30K to build my 240Z).
I was originally setting a goal for 350HP but i know as soon as i reach it ill want more. So which do you guys think will be more of an overall benifit? superchargers/turbos or a nos setup?
Oh yea... Its a stock 02 GT...As of right now.

Nitrous will be the cheapest horsepower you can ever get, but it will not always be there!

Its always there .. as long as your bottle aint empty :wink

My Advice... if you want real fun .. whenever .. get a blower ...

Nitrous is fun .. and very addictive .. I know first hand .. 100 shot .. 150 shot .. built motor .. 200 shot ... 250 .. next thing you know you have twin 20 lbs bottles in the back .. haha ... do what you want .. but I'd def. go with a blower and save a few bucks and some heart ache down the road ....

Nitrous is fun no doubt. But to say its cheaper than forced induction is and understatement. Sure a kit is cheaper initially, but after you add on bottle heaters, window switches, and fill the 10lb bottle at $40 a pop it starts to add up quick. Believe me nothing sux worse than needing your bottle filled and not having the money cause your spending $160 a month on filling that bastard every weekend! And the more you spray the more ya pay!

how much do you guys pay for nitrous? i got tired of the guy we got our nitrous from and got my own filling station. now i never run out of nitrous, unless i forget how much i use out of my tanks and need to get more. nitrous is a great way to get into more power, look for deals and do it right. i only have $750 in mine and i have everything i need. blowers are fun but cost more on initial set up. that descion is up to you.

forced induction

hey, if your gonna drive the car around town and sometimes to work you might want a forced induction, i have a supercharger and when i go to track on weekend i hook up the bottle, both are great , the supercharger is always ready to go, verses nos of course, haven it filled and haven to turn it on and off and remember the law, supercharger kits will cast you and to have it tuned on a dyno, but they run great on a stock engine, make sure you get a big exhaust don't smother the engine.

I am so surprised no one has bitched about the name of this thread. So many guys on here get touchy when you call nitrious NOS. LOL

ive just grown to except it. Its just about as stupid as saying ive got some steeda and Eibach. its called f*****g nitrous. NOS is a brand of nitrous. like Steeda is a brand of a shit load of stuff. How do we know someone is not talking about their purge kit or something like that. but hey who get upset about this kind of stuff.

Around here we pay about $38-40 to fill a 10 lb bottle when its completly empty.
How much did you refilling station cost and how do you get one.
