Speaker wine

I have an 04 GT with the Mach 460 sound system in it, ever since I've owned it... not even 2 months, the speakers have made a wining noise at idle and when you rev it, and occasionally they act up and make popping noises and what not. I'm thinking its a bad ground somewheres but I'm not sure, the guy who I got it off of said he would get it fixed but I was just wondering if anyone else ran into this problem and if it'd be an easy fix. Thanks.

the whining and the speakers popping is an indication that your one of, or all, your amps are going bad.

na the whining sound is a small hidden supercharger down under the dash, they put them in a couple of the 04 gt's, look at your engine, theres a small hose that u may think is a vacuum line........No its where the boost runs into the intake

Dont tell anybody, help protect Fords lil' secret!

.... no but really you probably have a bad ground somewere. the amps that came in the mustangs dont go bad that often. But you can check the ground wires yourself if you dont want to spend the money.

I'm almost positive its ground wine, if I'm idling it just has a small wine, then when you rev it the wine goes with the rev, but its not bad driving through town and what not, you can only really hear it when idling and driving around in first in a parking lot or somewheres... but occasionally it acts up and makes crazy ass noises. Not so much popping but like... if you can imagine someone blowing in a microphone? then thats what it sounds like haha.
